Today I had Len and his son Kyle for a morning of tarpon fishing. We looked hard all morning and didnt see to many fish. The fish are here but lack of good moving waters is keeping them hunkered down and not looking for food. We did mangae to catch some snook, but not what we were looking for.
That afternoon I took out my wife and good friends Ryan and Todd. We loaded up on nice pilchards in one throw of the net. We anchored up in a local pass with a strong incoming tide. We had great conditions in the pass, lots of bait, good moving water and it was a bit choppy. We managed around 40 snook in an hour and half and broke off two tarpon. We then made a short move till the sun went down and caught about twenty more snook and some jacks.
