Naples Fishing Report 2/9/10

I have stayed pretty busy lately and the fishing has remained consistent. We have stayed in a cooler weather pattern and this has been really good for trout, ladyfish, with some pompano and redfish mixed in. I have mainly been focusing on trout with live shrimp fished on a jig head and DOA Cals. They have been all different sizes anywhere from 12-22in and also some silver trout mixed in. There are a lot of redfish around the shallow bays, but with more than two people its hard to fish them. Its great for the artificial guys or fly fisherman, as I can bring the little boat that floats shallow and can sneak up on them. If anyone is interested I am going to be offering special night trips for 2-3 anglers in Feb and March for $300. We will focus on trout, snook and when it warms up small tarpon in the Naples Bay around dock lights. Its going to be a 3.5hr trip 730-11pm and is a lot of fun. If you are a fly guy this is the trip for you. I am also going to be adding a 10hr Tarpon/Shark/Snook trip in the late Spring through the Summer. We will split it 6-11am and then 4-9pm. Its going to be awesome and will give you the best shot at some big fish. Email me for more info or call me at 239 404 6255
