Great Tarpon Fishing

The tarpon fishing in Naples has remained good the last few weeks. We
are catching them on almost every trip some days hooking up to seven
fish. The big fish over 120lbs have moved north now and most of the
ones we are catching are 60-100lbs. Live threads and big pilchards are
doing the job for bait. Early morning and late afternoons have both
been producing fish just off the beaches. The snook fishing has also
been good in the late afternoons around the docks and passes using
smaller pilchards. I haven't fished for them much the last two months,
but they are hungry when fished for.
On a side note we have NO OIL and the forecasts do not put any on
our beaches or even close to us. Please call your captains and talk to
them, the news is not helping us down here at all with all the
misleading press. Our waters are crystal clear and fish are
everywhere. Give me a call and let's catch some fish 239-404-6255.
