Naples Tarpon and Snook

This June has been very busy for me, and my anglers have been rewarded with some great days on the water. I have managed to hook tarpon on every one of my charters but one and conditions were not great for that one. Tarpon was my main focus for most of the month, things picked up leading to the full moon, but winds came up hard from the west making it rough. Mark Yanowitz and friends fished three days with me in less than ideal conditions and we managed to hook a bunch of tarpon, but couldnt keep one on. The tarpon really went crazy on the days after the full moon and we managed to go 3-12, 4-7, 3-6, 2-4 and 1-1 on tarpon ranging from 50-125lbs. The last week has slowed for tarpon so I have been snook fishing more with lots of action on slot size fish on the outgoing tides. We have not got any real monsters, but this weeks big tides again should really get both the tarpon and snook going again. July is a great month to fish and I have days open so dont wait to get your spot. Tight lines
